In 2025 SPW is proud to partner with Caitlyn Trotter to present The PAK (Performing Arts Kids) Project. The project aims to provide more opportunities for young people to experience and participate in performing arts in Regional Victoria.
The program offers a variety of activities aimed at children from 5-18 years of age. Activities involve movement/choreography, musical education, choral singing, group performance, drama games, and discovering the ability to communicate through performing arts.
About Caitlyn
After graduating from a Bachelor of Music (voice) at Monash University in 2018, Caitlyn returned to her rural roots to pursue a career in music and performing arts education. She has worked for government projects like ‘The Song Room’ as a Teaching Artist in rural primary schools. This involved devising, implementing and teaching both educators and students how to bring music into the classroom.
Caitlyn was a voice teacher at Notre Dame College, Shepparton and has run her own business teaching and performing. She specialises in voice performance, incorporating a range of styles including classical, contemporary and musical theatre whilst dabbling in other genres as the mood takes her.
Her love of performing is deeply connected to local theatre and singing groups. She especially enjoys her volunteering roles as choir director leading local community choirs and performances. She has also been seen performing locally with Shepparton Theatre Arts Group working on projects such as ‘Dookie the Musical’ and other events such as the ‘Hot House’ Jazz evening, ‘Secret Garden Gigs’, and Shepparton Christmas Carols along with other festivals and events across the Goulburn Valley.
Caitlyn is passionate about bringing her experience and knowledge of music and the performing arts to the Seymour area. It is her goal to share her experiences and increase the opportunities for those in the local area who share her passion for music and performance.
